Common Management Admission Test CMAT 2014-2015 by AICTE

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2014-15 (First Test)

AICTE conducts National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) twice a year for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE
AICTE has now decided to conduct CMAT in Foreign Countries for facilitating eligible NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals to appear in CMAT for seeking admission in institutions in India following CMAT merit list for 2014-15 under special provisions defined in AICTE Approval Process and against all vacancies left after completion of centralized admission in management institutions
The notification is issued to announce the schedule for conducting First Test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission for academic year 2014-15
The candidates will be given two opportunities to appear in CMAT; first in September, 2013 and Second in February, 2014
The better of two scores will be used for admission for 2014-15
Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for 2014 can apply for CMAT online
In case of foreign nationals the eligibility will be as per recognition and equivalence standards notified by Association of Indian Universities
Registration: Online from 3rd July, 2013 to 26th August, 2013 on website www.aicte-cmat.in
Choice of 3 dates and 3 cities of India for online examination in the order of preference
Allotment will be based on first come first served
Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city

Admission Process

The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure
In case there is no central counseling Scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments
Test Fee: General/OBC Rs 1200/- plus bank charges as applicable; SC/ST/PD Rs 600/- plus bank charges as applicable
CMAT 2014-15 (First Test) for any test centre in Foreign Countries: Rs. 125/- plus bank charges as applicable
Mode of Payment:
Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card: Online through www.aicte-cmat.in
Cash Payment (Only for payment in Rs for appearing in test in India): Through challan generated online and Cash deposited in any branch of State Bank of India in India
Test Centres: Ahmedabad, Ahmednagar, Allahabad, Amravati, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Belgaum, Bellary, Bhavnagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bhuj, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Devangere, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Gulbarga, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolhapur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Meerut, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, Nasik, Noida, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Rajkot, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Surat, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Visakhapatnam

Important Dates

Registration window opens on: 03rd July, 2013
Last date for online registration: 26th August, 2013
Print out of hall ticket from: 12th September, 2013
Computer based test dates in India: 26th September, 2013 to 30th September, 2013
Test Timings in India: 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Computer based test in Foreign Countries on:  29th September, 2013, 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Declaration of result: 20th October, 2013
Print out of Score Cards from: 20th October, 2013 to 20th November, 2013
