Admission Guidance Help
Today, a bachelor degree is not
sufficient. Possessing a specialized degree in post graduation is must in order
to survive in this cutthroat world; this is where MBA degree rules the roost.
In the past decade, a new trend has emerged in the field of education. It has
been observed that only MBAs are in the rise. Till 2011, plenty of management
aptitude tests were conducted to get admission to the course. As a result,
candidates had to go through unexpressed traumatic period. To change the
scenario, AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), being the
responsible body for organizing and proper coordination of technical and
management education launched CMAT exam.
CMAT stands for Common Management
Aptitude test. The entrance exam is conducted to judge the students’
capabilities in various skills such as logical reasoning, data interpretation
and current affairs. It’s a mandatory test to secure admission to the first
year of post graduate management programmes in the colleges that are approved
by AICTE. There are more than 3500 business schools that utilized CMAT score
for admission. The test is conducted twice a year.
Candidates can appear for both the
exams and the better of two scores will be utilized for the admission
process.
