AICTE will conduct the CMAT as an
entrance test for admission to the colleges that offer MBA and for those
which run postgraduate diploma in management programs. All the B-Schools
recognized by AICTE can and are expected to accept the CMAT Score.
AICTE will be conducting CMAT TWO TIMES in a year. The candidates will be given two opportunities to appear in CMAT; first in September 2014 and second in February 2015.
The better of two scores will be
used for admission for 2015-16

- Graduates with 50% in any discipline
- Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply
Test Fee
- General/OBC: Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable
- SC/ST/PD: Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable
Note: Fee once remitted is not refunded under any circumstance.
Mode of Payment
- Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card: Online through www.aicte-cmat.in
- Cash: Payment Through challan generated online and Cash deposited in any branch of State Bank of India.

Structure-Pattern of the CMAT First Test

- Expected Duration of the CMAT: 3 hours (180 minutes).
- Expected Time per section in CMAT: 45 minutes.
- Marking Scheme for CMAT: 4 marks per correct answer.
- Incorrect answers will carry a penalty of 1 mark.
Admission Process
- The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Government for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure
- In case there is no central counseling, scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved institutes/University departments.
