MAT 2014 December - Management
 Aptitude Test acronym as MAT is a standardised test which is being 
conducted since 1988 - four times in a year i.e Februay, May, Septermber
 and December - to facilitate Top B-Schools of the country and abroad to
 screen candidates for providing admission to their MBA and allied 
programmes.
Approved by Govt. of India, Ministry of 
HRD approved as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national 
or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on
 the Score Cards issued to the candidates.
MAT Exam Eligibility
Educational Qualification
The minimum qualification for appearing 
in MAT Entrance Exam is graduation in any discipline from any recognized
 University or equivalent.
Note: A final year student in any undergraduate course (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, B. Tech, etc) can also appear provisionally.
Usually, there is a minimum percentage 
requirement in graduation, which is different for different 
MI’s/University. For this refer to the prospectus of the particular 
MI’s/University.
MAT Exam Syllabus
 The main contents of the MAT exam are:
- Language Comprehension.
- Mathematical Skills.
- Data Analysis and Sufficiency.
- Intelligence and Critical Reasoning.
- Indian and Global Environment.
MAT Exam Pattern
MAT is an objective type test with multiple-choice answers.MAT Exam Pattern is designed to measure a person’s general aptitudes as the following table indicates:

MAT Exam Dates
MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December.
How to apply for MAT Exam?
Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply.
By obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs.1200 (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi. OR
By Sending a crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1200 (One thousand two hundred only) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org alongwith the DD details. OR
Register online at website link www.aima-ind.org with Credit Card payment.
What is the validity of MAT score?
Validity of the MAT score is for that particular session for most Management Institutes except AIMA - CME’s PGDM & PGDITM programmes, for which the score is valid for one year.

At Present the cost of a MAT bulletin is Rs.1200
