CAT 2014 is the biggest and most important MBA entrance exam, there
are several other important ones. Colleges that come under the central or state
government often conduct separate state MBA entrance exams or allow scores
of some other tests. The basic purpose of a management entrance exam is to
test the candidate’s aptitude and ability. These are often followed
by consecutive rounds of group discussion, personal interview and written
admission tests. Only after clearing all the rounds does a candidate get
admission in one of the colleges.
Over the past few years as the trend
of getting a MBA / PGDM degree has been rising, there has been a simultaneous
growth in number of colleges offering MBA in India. In each state you will find
a large number of B schools. It is in the candidate’s best interests to make an
informed decision before joining any college.
You must appear in CAT 2014, MAT
2014, CMAT 2015. The scores of these exams are most commonly
accepted in all major B schools. Apart from these, you need to be aware which
test scores are accepted in your specific college of choice or state colleges.
